Dear Parents,

I would like to thank Mrs. Van Zandt for her dedication again this year to the Westside Relays. She prepared and encouraged the 5th and 6th graders in all of their events, and she helped to make the Westside Relays day very organized and enjoyable for the children, until the rain came. Thank you also to the parents who helped with the children in the stands and on the field that day.

St. Vincent de Paul Elementary School is a member of the National Junior Honor Society, and on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 our annual induction ceremony was held in the chapel. The induction ceremony was conducted by Ursyla Baumgarten and Jenna Powell who are current members of the National Junior Honor Society. Newly appointed members are Austin Booth, William Crain, Grace Forsell, Alex Gambonini, Justin Sablik, Hannah Sarlatte, and Joey Wertz. Congratulations to all of the students who have worked so hard this past school year.
