Dear Parents,

This year’s Annual St. Vincent’s Golf Tournament was a great success. A huge thank you to Fern Youngswick. Thank you to all the other committee members for the dedication, hard work, and energy they gave to this event. Thank you to all golfers who participated in the tournament. The dinner after the tournament wonderful!

Thank you for the wonderful survey responses regarding the YMCA after-school care program. There was an overwhelming response to the need for after-school care, so beginning in August, 2008 St. Vincent de Paul Elementary School will offer after-school care which will be provided on our campus by the YMCA. Parents also were interested in a meeting with representatives from the YMCA program. This meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at 6:30p.m. in our chapel. Jeremy Hodgden, Program Director for the YMCA, will be present to answer any questions.

At the end of this school year two very important people in the St. Vincent community are leaving. After fifteen years of fantastic service to the school, Mrs. Nina Giacometti is retiring

Sincerely,

Susan B. Roffmann, Principal
