Tuesday Newsletter

Dear Parents,
On Friday, January 29th, eighth grader Daniel Chojnacki served as "Principal for a Day" at St. Vincent de Paul Elementary School. Daniel was a terrific principal. He visited classrooms, met with Dr. Walker, principal of St. Vincent High School, and handled issues as they arose. We hope Daniel enjoyed his tenure, and we thank him for his leadership.
The annual St. Vincent de Paul Elementary School Ice-Skating Night at the Redwood Empire Ice Arena is scheduled for Thursday, February 25, 2010 from 7:30p.m.- 9:00p.m. We invite all families and friends to join us. The informational flyer is attached to this Tuesday Newsletter.
Math and science tutors are available for St. Vincent de Paul Elementary School students in the St. Vincent High School library every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:00p.m.-4:00p.m. This tutoring program has been very successful, and St. Vincent High School would like to ensure that the success continues by having enough St. Vincent High School students. So if you wish to send your child to the St. Vincent High School after school tutoring, please call the librarians at 763-1032 ext. 142 or send an e-mail to the librarians at sblasser@svhs-pet.org and tquinn@svhs-pet.org. This tutoring service is free.
Continues...St. Vincent Elementary was once again voted "People's Choice"
of private/charter schools of the area. Congratulations!
